What can I use for free?
Unlimited manual trip logging, full editing, and raw CSV export are free forever, with no trip caps. A subscription adds automatic background tracking and the tax-ready PDF report.
Will automatic tracking drain my battery?
Motion detection starts GPS only while you are driving instead of running it all the time, which spares your battery.
What happens when the 7-day trial ends?
The trial starts automatically on first run, with no card or payment sheet. When it ends, every trip stays in your log, manual logging and CSV export keep working, and trips you already captured are never hidden behind payment.
What if a trip is missed?
Logmiles shows what it captured and what it did not, including explicit gaps you can repair. It keeps short trips, and when in doubt it records the trip so you can delete it.
Can I bring over an existing mileage log?
You can import an existing MileIQ CSV. You can also rebuild a missed past year from answers about your typical driving; reconstructed entries are clearly labeled and require your attestation.
Which countries are supported?
Reports are localized for the US, Canada, Australia, and the UK, with each country's rates, currency, units, and tax year.
